Sure thing Rich.

Thanks very much for the HBD. Mike only told me a moment ago that Rick started a HBD thread for me on the CGC Forum. Was he pulling my leg cause I don't see it, or maybe it got deleted? ;))

Rick did start one in the Golden Age forum.
I think he was trying to say something :baiting:

I knew the general pop. would probably not even know Marnin...but the "oldies" would... hence, I kept in the GA forum!

I would love to but it's too x-rated for here and the mods would pull it in a heartbeat. I might even earn a :banned:

Thanks for the Gold HBD thread Rick!

:hail: Once again Marnin, you humble us with these comics. I just love the fact that they are "raw".
Do you ever read them anymore :dunno:

Thank you Paul. These just became raw. I'm about a dozen away from cracking every certified private collection book I own.

Honestly, I don't believe I've read an entire comic book since the late 70's, and when I did it was strictly Marvel and EC Comics. Once I got beyond the quaintness and origins of Golden-Age story lines, I found most to be geared towards a 6th grade level. It's the covers that fascinate me most of all with all eras of comic books.

Actually Paul, I would buy whatever was put in front of me that was ultra high grade. I was once known as the guy who would pay just about whatever price was quoted me, thus I would be near the top of the list of many dealers when their best books came in, and I didn't care about having complete runs.

I could see how that would get someone atop a dealers list

Marnin...I have a very high grade bridge located in your city for sale!
...it is definitely raw.
there has probably been a little tiny bit of restoration done to it.
But, to the best of my knowledge it has never been pressed.
But it looks cherry !

Well Mr. Barnum, if you have the resto removed, don't say anything about it, encapsulate it in a Universal Blue label, I'm sure I'll gobble it up no matter what the price. :screwy:

Marnin - stunning Action 47 and especially the Captain America 59. I love the fact that it is the "Lee School" in the background. Whether or not it is a reference to Stan Lee, that always cracked me up. And an origin issue to boot. Very Cool :righton:

A couple of new books...

Thank you Rich! I didn't even notice the "Lee School" until you pointed that out.

Love the Amazing Man Comics #15.

Wow! Very nice book Richard! Do you have an Amazing Man #26? Just curious because I believe someone we both know wants one. :D
