Hi, I want to let everybody know about the Annapolis Comic-Con, which will be March 24 & 25, 2012. This is going to be a very fun show with a lot of dealers and artists, and two full days of panels and other fun stuff.

The show will be at:
Roger "Pip" Moyer Center
273 Hilltop Ln., Annapolis MD 21403
10AM-6PM Saturday
10AM-4PM Sunday

We are a little over 2 weeks away from the con and we've had a few changes (mostly additions) with dealers and guests, so I'll repost the entire list. 12:00 Small Press Discussion with Steve Conley, C. Edward Sellner, Dan Nokes, and Chris Flick- Find out all about independent publishing from four very different perspectives.

1:00 John Ostrander Comic Writer's Workshop- The writer of STAR WARS LEGACY & SECRET SIX shares his tips on the process, and the art of breaking into comics!

2:00 Painting for Comics with Jo Chen, JK Woodward, Mark Wheatley, and Matt Slay- Four fascinating artists at the Annapolis Comic-Con are painters, and they’ll tell you all about it.

3:00 Selling Your Comic - Third Eye Steve, Mike DeVito (Th3rd World Studios, publisher of STUFF OF LEGEND), and Steve Boyd (ComicCollectorLive Online Marketplace) talk about different aspects of how to sell your creator-owned comic books, in stores, and online.

4:00 Cosplay Forum- Meet some of the most talented Cosplayers on the convention show floor, and find out tips on how to make your costume rock.

5:00 Costume Contest- The day ends with the costume contest! Prizes TBA (they will be awesome)

SUNDAY
11:00 Adventure Time Trivia- What time is it? Time to win some prizes, if you know the difference between the Candy Kingdom and Lumpy Space. Grand Prize will be one of only 200 copies of the Limited Edition Adventure Time #1 Annapolis Comic-Con Exclusive Comic Book. One recently sold on eBay for $256!

12:00 Zombie Survival Techniques- How prepared are you for the impending zombie apocalypse? Not prepared enough, so take this workshop and be ready.

1:00 Create a Super Hero- Children's Book Writer and illustrator K. Michael Crawford will be demonstrating how to create and draw a Super Hero. All ages and characters are welcomed.

2:00 Build Your Favorite Superhero- Kids, do you want to make an awesome sculpture of your favorite superhero? We’ll have Lorina Harris of the Art Smart Studio and she will be teaching kids (and adults) to sculpt using Model Magic. This is mostly for kids, but come on, Model Magic is awesome.

3:00 Kids & Family Costume Contests- Kids-only costume contest, followed by a family theme costume contest! Kids, bring your parents!

3:30 Auction to benefit Hero Initiative- The Hero Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping comic book creators, writers and artists in need. Help them out while bidding on some amazing artwork, at the Annapolis Comic-Con Art Auction! This auction will start immediately after the costume contests conclude.
