Hi gang:

In January, the CBCA will launch the comic book dealer rating project. This will be an online survey where you can rate comic dealers based on a number of criteria. Then, the ratings will be published to the CBCA web site as a reference tool for the community.

Now, we are looking to assemble a comprehensive list of dealers to include in the ratings. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to add to the list. I'm sure I missed more than a few major players.

By the way, there will also be the ability to add "write in" dealers when you take the survey - this would be appropriate for your LCS.

Here is what I have thus far:

Metropolis
Mile High
Lone Star/My Comic Shop
Quality Comix
Comic Link
Heritage
High Grade Comics
Superworld
Daves American Comics (Dave Reynolds)
Harley Yee
Bedrock
Worldwide
Jim Payette
Bob Beerbolm
Dale Roberts
John Verzl
Pedigree Comics
Esquire Comics
Dale Roberts
SoCal Comics
Tomorrow’s Treasures (Rich Muchin)
Silver Age Comics (NY)
JHV
Flying Donut
Graham Crackers
Doug Sulipa
Pedigree

Thanks for your help!

Comicopolis (UK)

Hi Steve, just thought I should mention that the Comicopolis website that's run by myself and CGC boardmember Comicopolis will be ending in March and we will be ending out partnership (we're still buddys though).

I will still be dealing and hope to have another website later in the year but don't have a name yet (still pondering that one).

BTW, just curious why some of the UK based dealers are marked with a (UK) and some aren't? It doesn't bother me either way but I was just curious.

Thefre were some that had names similar to other names, so I put the UK to try to be more specific. I think there is a Forbidden Planet in the US if I am not mistaken.

Anyway, if you think we need to specify with others, let me know. An easy fix. :righton:

By the way, this project is still on track. However, we decided to hold off a bit until our new homepage was launched. No sense in running a big campaign that might drive traffic and then updating our home page.
