what were the prerequisites for the award?
Number of postings ?
Or cogent discussion threads?

Mike (comicdonna) is an all around good guy. :D

If I recall correctly, the award was for fostering a positive attitude and being a great community member. I'm glad he has joined us here.

Now, if he would just stop going after the same Actions as me, he'd be perfect.

This, from the man who is the centerpiece of the coolest OO early Action Comics run I've ever seen? Heck, I'd be satisfied if someone would Photoshop my mug into Bill's collection pic so I could at least tell friends I had been near such a kick-ass collection.

this is the biggest comic book "investment" I have ever made...it is also "the" corner stone book in my collection, since selling the Tec 27...and, I had to sell a TON of cool books just to be able to afford 1/2 the book!

Lol Richard, we can all thank MasterChief Mitch. I believe he spent 25 or more hours upgrading our forum in many ways beyond the cool icons.

oh, I don't know, a couple of Mile High's (like AMF 1/2), a Larson or 2, maybe a Cosmic A. Centaur (my favorite 2/7)...All Star 33,61, my Captain America 46! some Crippen Sensations, etc... a lot of sacrifice... but, folks know that I have a 10% rule in play (will not let my comic collection exceed 10% of my net worth), and with the market declining some 30% recently, I still have to cut another 20% of my collection to stay in my comfort zone...just a financial reality.... anytime anyone spends $1000, or $10,000 or whatever larger $ amount on a comic, no matter how much we might love that comic, I have found that I can no longer allow myself to be so emotional about the book, that I don't make a wise financial decision...after all, at some level, our collections are "investments" whether we choose to call them that or not...

My collection is more like a liability than an asset...
