For you all you in the Pacific Northwest just wanted to remind you that the 2nd annual Jet City Comic Show (www.jetcitycomicshow.com) is back and less than a month away in Seattle, WA on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

The show will be held in the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on Mercer Street. It’s 36,000 sqft. of comics, toys, and a ton of creators.

For the collectors, there’ll be plenty of Silver and Bronze age comics for you to pick through (not to mention there should be plenty quarter bins). There’s a few new dealers as well setting up for the show in addition to all the quality dealers from the Pacific Northwest.

Our featured guests include:
William Katt - Actor on "The Greatest American Hero"
Dan Brereton - Creator of The Nocturnals
Brian Churilla - Artist of The Anchor & Avengers and the Infinity Gauntlet
Matthew Clark - Artist of Doom Patrol, Ghost Rider
Farel Dalrymple - Pop Gun War
Sean Dietrich - Live Painter and Creator/Artist of Industriacide
Nick Dragotta - Artist of Vengeance, Captain America: Forever Allies
Brandon Jerwa - Writer of Stargate and Mighty Crusaders
Emi Lenox - Artist of Emitown
Dustin Nguyen - Artist on Batman: Streets of Gotham, Batgirl, Detective Comics
Justin "Moritat" Norman - Artist of Elephantman
Greg Rucka - Writer of Stumptown, Batwoman, Queen & Country
Matthew Southworth - Artist of Stumptown
Eric Trautmann - Writer of Vampirella, Red Sonja
Tim Vigil – Creator/Artist of Faust
Shane White - Creator/Artist of Things Undone and North Country

We’ll have almost 100 tables for guests and up-n-coming creators, so plenty of original art and sketches to be had.

There will be a costume contest this year, so there should be plenty of cosplayers.

I plan on being there. It was a nice dealer heavy first show last year. Hopefully it will continue to be dealer friendly. Last year's show was great but I think had disappointing attendance...it was mainly due to the wonderful weather that day after a pretty gloomy summer.
