This is the only original Neal Adams art I'll probably ever have.

I picked this book up at the Emerald City Con and had him draw a sketch on the inside cover. Mark Texeira has done some incredible work (I think I bought every Ghost Rider he did).

Excellent, Mike. I'm a fan of Texeira as well. :righton: His run on Ghost Rider was excellent!

I've had this Bill Everett Sub-Mariner con sketch since the early 70's. He was at one of Phil Seuling's conventions in NYC and was graciously doing sketches for anyone who had paper on which he could sketch.

:applause:

In Everett's case it is worth it just to get his signature.

What a wonderful sketch. If this was mine, they'd eventually have to pry my cold dead hands from it. Hopefully, not anytime soon.

Any other details you can share about meeting Bill?

I acted like a total fan-boy. I gushed about how much I liked his artwork as he did the sketch and thanked him profusely for it. He was friendly and seemed happy to be surrounded by the group of fans that had surrounded him.
