Very nice set of books. :applause:

I always enjoy collecting titles where a VF is considered a great find.

Hi,
While I am not a huge fan of the typical war comic, I do enjoy those war stories with an element of fantasy attached.
Here is one of them...

Another innovative concept by Kanigher...take a platoon of rangers and shrink them down to 6 inches -- and see what happens. Fun stuff! Too bad the MINUTE COMMANDOS didnt have any other adventures...they would have made a nice backup feature to the "War Before Time" stories in SSWS.

A little extra fantasy Sci-fi feeling with the robot GI buddy. Believe it only lasted two issues....

J.A.K.E the GI Robot had great potential for an ongoing backup feature. The character was revived by Kanigher in the late 70s in WEIRD WAR TALES.

Here are some of my favorite WTTF covers!

So why dosent Hollywood make this concept into a big CGI movie? Get someone like Tarantino to direct and you get Inglorious Basterts meets Jurassic Park :wonder:

Guys, can any of you post details on the Salida collection? Is there a good backstory on it? I know it's one of the grail collections of DC War and they're as rare as hen's teeth.

Thanks! (Great covers by the way!)
