This issue has really taken off in the past few years. You could probably have gotten much more for it now than just few years ago.

I don't know what the problem is. I haven't called for the graders notes, but it's awesome to behold.

The Avengers Curator I sold on Ebay in 2005 for $660.

This was always one of my favorite covers, partly because of the bold basic color choices and as you mentioned, the glossiness of the ink application.

You beat me to it... I just saw it last night as well.

We should all know by now that yesterday's "little nuts" very often are tomorrow's "wise investments" when it comes to high grade [quality] pedigree books. While I agree with you... it would not shock me in the slightest if someone scooped it up at that price.
