Hi,

I am a new member and in my introduction email it mentions a CBCA Member Only portion of the forum. All I see is the public forum and under the hood. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

You are all set. Thanks for asking. It's a manual process and sometimes I miss one. Sorry.

:peace:

Maybe I missed this, but why are some user names blue, some black, and others are red? I assume that the red ones are moderators.

Black are registered users
Blue are paid members
Red is administrators

Thanks, Mike. What do paid members gain over non-paying registered users?

One thing I know is that only a paid member is able to list books for sale or trade in the X-Change. Non-paid members can purchase but only paid members can sell.

Also, paid members get access to the members only part of the forum. Not to mention member discounts.

Thanks, guys. :)

I didn't know that the site had things for sale. Member discounts? And what does the members only part of the forum include? :???

Thanks again. :)

Paid members also get to vote in the CBCA elections and have a say in what the organisation does.

A lot of being a paid member is about wanting to support the organisation in its goals.

One of those goals is getting closer. It won't be much longer until tons of collecting info is added to our website. Articles, how to, best supplies... All kinds of good stuff.

Mike, is this something you can elaborate on, either here or in a PM, so I can put it up on our Facebook page? For that matter, is there any advance news, etc. that you can pass my way for the Facebook page?
