Welcome to the Safari club. That happened to me on the NOD website since the day it launched, and is happening here as well until I refresh the page, but I'm sure Rob can fix this.

Why aren't you using Firefox?

Better than Safari on the Mac......

That's happening in IE for me. If I recall correctly, it happened a few times last night when I was home using Firefox as well.

I'm not as comfortable on Firefox as I am on Safari. I'm sure many of my issues are due to the fact that I'm still using Safari 2.0.4 (419.3).

I use Firefox a great deal. Our CMS Text Editor will not work on my version of Safari, but I don't understand all the components of Firefox. It is not as user friendly, at least to me anyhow. Image

This happened once before when the Gallery was rolled out. It was quickly fixed by Rob (at least for me).

I've never seen it in the Forum until today... so this leads me to believe it's a coding issue and not a browser issue.

Disclosure: I use both Firefox and Internet Explorer. ;)

I'm sure he can. I haven't tried it yet on Firefox, Flock, Opera or Camino.

Let's gather all the issues we notice and then present them at once.

In the User Control Panel where can the options be found to ...

1. Engage e-mail notifications for threads where one has already posted?
2. Locate the great Avatars that Mitch created?
3. Create additional folders for pm's?

1. Board Preferences>Edit Posting Defaults>Select "yes" to "Notify me upon replies by default:"
2. User Control Panel --> Profile --> Edit Avatar --> Display Gallery
3. I don't know because I have never had the need for such a function. I erase old messages when needed.

Thank you Aaron.

From our Administrator:

Currently, you are allowed to create 4 personal folders with 200 PMs per folder. That's a total of 800 PMs!

One folder is already created for you. It's called "Saved messages". You just need to create three more folders.

Once done, start organizing your PMs by moving them from the Inbox to your folders, just like you would do with a filing system on your computer.

Go to your profile and there is a setting to hide whether you are online or not.

Ok, I hate the fact that when you try to post a comment and another comment has come in beforehand that it doesn't allow you to post without affirmatively acknowledging the new post. What keeps happening to me is that I don't see the comment that a new post has been posted and I might want to reconsider my post and I just move on to something else. Then I find out that my post hasn't been posted because I didn't affirmatively acknowledge it was ok to still post my original comment. There has to be a better way to do this.
