I just spent the weekend finishing up the Christmas shopping and getting holiday food for the impending feasts to come.
I can't believe the "nut house" that is unleashed in the stores this time of year...

#1 Rant... You're in line.. you know you need to pay... get your damn form of payment out instead of fishing around for it after the cashier was tallied your bill.

#2 If you're looking for a certain item in the grocery store... move your bloody cart out of the way so people can get by...

I actually love #2 because no matter what time of year it is... that cart is getting a good ol' "nudge" from my cart as I come through.... :evillaugh:

Any time I start thinking that people are generally smart I take a quick trip to the grocery store for a dose of reality. Here are my pet peeves:

- The person that leaves his cart in the middle of the aisle and wanders off to look for something.
- The person that moves their cart to the side of the aisle and then stands between it and the opposite side of the aisle looking at the stock.
- The old woman that just has to pay with exact change while ten people wait in line for her to pick the pennies out of her purse one at a time.
- The guy that wants the coupon that will save him 10 cents, but doesn't have the flyer so the checkout girl has to go find one and cut out the proper coupon while 10 people wait in line.

Basically, most people are completely oblivious to those around them all year long.

...and what she is usually buying is a gallon of Scorby's scotch and a carton of generic brand of cigarettes.
