 Post subject: Weird NASCAR question

Recently there was a NASCAR driver that received a speeding ticket that could result in his license being suspended for a year. If that happens, could he still drive in races?

i Know nothing about NASCAR but i googled and apparently you dont need a license to race in nascar so i guess not altho i would think they would probably suspend him for a few races for public image reasons (i.e they wouldn't want to promote speeding etc).

I think you only need a license to drive on a public road. Since a Nascar racetrack is not a public road, I don't think it technically matters.

From a PR perspective, it looks horrible however. :lol:
