Anyone watch Strikeforce's "Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate" fight on Showtime? This was Tate's first title defence. It was a killer catfight do to the bad blood and Tate trying to punk down Rousey at the weigh-in. Tate tried to push her head against Rousey's forehead during the face-off at the weigh-in and Rousey did not like it so she pushed back. Tate claimed Rousey headbutted her and wanted her fined. This made Rousey so mad that she wanted to make her tap with her combo judo/grappling skills.
Tate was killing Rousey with her "wild" stand-up striking do to Rousey's poor footwork, punching, and kicking skills. Rousey timed herself well to get in clinch distance and use her Olympic caliber Judo to flawlessly throw Tate to the ground like a rag doll and out grapple Tate's wrestling skills. Tate escaped Rousey's "bread and butter" move; the armbar that she uses to win in ever fight she has had in Strikeforce in the first round. Tate got out once in it but was caught a second time and she refused to tap-out untill.... SNAP went her arm. Rousey got win (4:27) and is the new Strikeforce Women Bantamweight Champion (135 LBS).

OUCH!! Tate must have one heck of pain threshold to stay in an armbar that long, try to roll out of it, and not tap until her elbow was fully bent over Rousey's hip/thigh.
