If you've got them and want to share, post your Super Family Adventures right here...

Supes is baffled as, one by one, his closest allies Supergirl, Batman and Lori the Mermaid ( ) betray his secret identity to Lois, Perry and Jimmy, who subsequently resort to blackmail.

Eventually, Supes is left with no other option but to kill them...

(I kid you not :noway: )

In keeping with the theme of a murderous Supes; here is the only SA Supe that I have. A beautiful Neal Adams cover. :righton:

Thanks, Pwog. A murderous Superman, what a terrifying concept...

I guess, in the history of funny books, someone, somewhere must have done a Superman destroys the Earth story. 1990's I'm looking at you...

I love the expression on Superman's face, it's like after all those years, all those years of being Super-Smug, someone is at last bopping him right in the face. His expression is priceless... He's like 'ow, you can't do that!'

Makes me think of the Mort Weisinger, the editor of the Silver Age Superman titles and his legendary feelings of inadequacy in the shadow of this Supermoney spinner. Apparently he liked the stories where Supes was de-powered. I bet he liked a cover where something finally smacks him the face.

Super-McCarthyism parades over another kangaroo court. Which one of the Legion is a communist!

This next one is a real Jewel in my collection. I'm really really pleased with it. When I was last into comics, about seven years ago I would never have had the moolah to splash out for such an item. This modest little funnybook not only represents my love for the Silver Age but also that seven years ago I was a different man in a different place, and I changed that. I pulled myself out of my rut, and I moved onwards and upwards :bravo:

And the Lois Lane Fighting Theme continues...

:touche:

Actually it's interesting to see the almost decade wide gap between these covers and see how 'grounded' the characters have become. On #21, everyone is flying - the ladies are superpowered. Ten years later a de-powered WonderWoman flips Lois over her head whilst Superman sits down to watch....
