Here are some pick ups in the last few months. I'm down to Strange Tales 101, 123 and an upgrade on 115 to complete a VF and better run from 85-168. :yipeeeee:

This is the hardest book to find in grade from the Doctor Strange 169-183 run.

Niro - these are nice books also. You had quite a post day! Congrats!

Today was a good post day for me as well.

This arrived! Sorry about the cut off scan. It's a CGC 7.5

That sounds like a really cool and fun set. Do you have FF 5 or 6 or ASM 5? Off the top of my head, those would be the most pricey.

Yup i thought so too  but unfortunately No, i'm trying to round up the more affordable issues first. Would have to bide my time for a good deal on those issues unless i go for a very low grade

Nothing wrong with low grade books; often their covers display very well.

Collect what you like. My collections have differnt mixes. We would all love 9.8+ but some of those cost 100K+. If it is pretty, complete and something you like then it is a keeper!

I like DD. Those are fun. I personally am only missing 3 and 7. I will pick those up some day.

I bought this issue last weekend at a small local show. 1st appearance of Carol Danvers. That's the reason I wanted it.

There's a little glare coming off the mylar on the scan. Sorry about that.

It came from my brother's collection. I've wanted it for a long time and I'm glad to keep it in the family. He's probably had it since 1980 or so.

My fee for selling the rest of his collection!

Thanks, Mr. Zipper. I was glad to find a VF copy of my new Marvel Super-Heores 13 book for a price I was comfortable with. I saw a CGC 9.4 on Ebay, and the seller was asking over $600 for it. Crazy.

Very cool JIM issue, Mr. Zipper, and a great story to go with it.

Got these two from Garry few months ago, easily best in my little collection (again sorry for the poor scans, my scanner is not big enough for cgc slabs):

I'm really not sure if these are true Silver Age, or the beginning of Bronze for their respective titles, but chronologically, they fall under the Silver umbrella, so...
