Post deleted. Realized it doesn't qualify for this thread as it was not a private collection book.

Thanks :D
I just noticed that the Original Art to that book was on eBay. I thought it an odd coincidence since there is not a lot of art from the mid-40s and my collection isn't very large. Sweet Schomburg covers rule.

Nice book Mike. I thought that Action #35 cover looked familiar, and yes, even with my glasses on I can barely read the serial numbers on the older holders. Why for heavens sake CGC doesn't place a holdering date on the back of them I don't know? I was considering calling Mark Haspel to report to him all the books I'm currently cracking, but I know he's gonna ask me for the serial numbers and I'm just not going to go through all that, (I want to keep the labels inside the mylars.)

Yes, but sold copy. Shame raw dealers are supressed on the CGC Forum or you might have seen it. All part of the very clever marketing scheme:)

My grail book arrived today! :score:

4 years ago, my wife bought me an Action #29 CGC 4.0 for Christmas. Unfortunately, I only had it a few months before having to sell it. I am so pleased to now have this copy!

New addition to my run of All-Flash. I should have number 2 soon also. Which afterwards I will finally take a group shot. Highest grade I have added to my run so far! Image

One of my FAVORITE Action covers. Supes, bondage, key issue. Great "underrated" copy you have there!

These are in low grade, but I bought them from the original, private collection owner. Nice older guy in Leesburg, VA. Had a giant pile of books from the late 1940s to the 1970s. NO early Marvels. "I didn't like them."

Very cool book!!! This lowly mostly Silver-Age guy has never seen that cover.

Sorry it took so long Richard, but I finally got a definitive answer from the Detroit Trolley family and unfortunately there is no Mystic Comics #9.

Sure thing Rich.

Thanks very much for the HBD. Mike only told me a moment ago that Rick started a HBD thread for me on the CGC Forum. Was he pulling my leg cause I don't see it, or maybe it got deleted? ;))

:roflmao: That's probably why I can't get the CGC forums to appear right now - timed out due to an unintended DoS attack from the rush of well wishers.
