The second half of the Weird run (#11-20) is even tougher than the first, IMO. Quite a few of these I've never seen a copy for sale other than the one I bought.

These photos are from earlier in the year, and I finally now do have a filler #20!, with huge thanks to buttock/Dan on the CGC boards. Definitely the toughest issue of the run.

Still fond of ECs, especially the later issues in the runs where the stories and art really reached their peaks. They're the books that got me into GA collecting in the first place. I've come close to selling them off to fund a bigger purchase before, but could never quite do it.

It's been 5 years since I started this run. I am particular to which books I buy. No name on the cover, cr/ow pages or better (I have 1 or 2 with light tan pages) minor writing or a date stamp is sometimes acceptable. The cover needs to have nice eye-appeal. A VG/4.0 minimum grade is required. No restoration. I don't purchase books that I know or think that it's been pressed.

In fairness, the photo is hiding a lot... grades average around 2.0-3.5, with some a bit higher but a few much lower (the Rocket Comics is missing its back cover, for instance).

All were purchased raw except for the Science Comics #4...one of the tougher issues in the run, and one I had to pay a bit of a premium for as it doesn't come around often. If memory serves that was a CGC 4.5 with slight resto, & I cracked it out (but saved the label) once I received it.
